Before the supercharger, there was the hard work: cutting away corrosion, repairing the structure and rebuilding what sits beneath the body.
Chapter 01 / Structural repairs
Cut out the rot. Keep the car.
Nemesis needed extensive metalwork, including front chassis rail repairs and rear quarter, sill and inner-arch work. Corroded material was removed before sound steel and repair sections were welded in. The front chassis rail repair panels were sourced from IL Motorsport in November 2021 (recorded references NB0-7053209/08).
Once the repairs were complete, attention turned to seams, cavities and protecting the repaired areas — not merely making the corrosion invisible.

Chapter 02 / Running gear
Rebuilding the foundations.
The rear subframe and suspension were stripped and refurbished, with replacement bushes, ball joints and track rod ends. The gold-coloured arms are finished in Buzzweld Chassis In One Pearl Gold, contrasting with the black chassis coating.
The brakes received new discs, replacement calipers, fresh slider hardware and HEL braided hoses. Bronze caliper paint adds a restrained detail rather than flashy aftermarket hardware.
SVT big brakes retained
Replacement front and rear calipers, 270 mm / 276 mm discs as listed in the purchase log, and HEL braided hoses.

Buzzweld Chassis In One in black and Pearl Gold, supported by rust encapsulation and cavity protection products.
Chapter 03 / Corrosion prevention
Make the repairs last.
The purchase records identify Buzzweld Rust Encapsulator (RE), Chassis In One Black, Chassis In One Pearl Gold, WAR underbody superwax, Regen cavity wax and additional cavity wax. The log also records Holts and Promatic stone guard products. Exact application locations and layer sequences are not claimed where the records do not establish them.
The point of the exercise was simple: rebuild the foundations properly, then protect the investment in labour.
